Worst rental facility experience I’ve ever had. Misleading promises. Treacherous grounds conditions. Argumentative customer service. Forced me to move due to their mistake in not properly following regulations of the city for storage units on property. They setup a deal with another facility to take their displaced customers at an extended part time discount rate. The partner facility later backed out on the deal so I was in a time crunch after following the directions laid out in the notice to vacate. I rented another unit from this facility and they mocked me when asking for a discounted rate to mimic what was initially promised when notified I was forced to leave before. I am very happy to have moved out to a different company’s facility with clean property and easy accessibility.

With such little concern when theft and break ins occur, I would not feel safe putting my valuables here. I used to recommend this place to everyone for their shipping containers, no longer. I rented 2 units when it was under the old management. I was told that once all my items were removed from both units that I would receive my 120 dollar security deposit back. Since I moved out of 1 unit my daughter and her friend kept their items in the other unit. She filled out a new contract with the old owners and they said that the 120 deposit would be returned after they moved their tems out. Since then the storage facility was sold and new owners took over. Once they moved their items out, last Sunday, I asked if they received the security deposit. They said no. I contacted South oakhill storage and they said that they could only talk to the person who had the unit. She called later and was informed that the deposit was nonrefundable. I don't understand what the deposit is for. I always thought it would cover cleaning and or damage. Both were not the the case. Now we both have our original contracts and I guess our only recourse is to take them to court!!
